About this test kit

With this test kit, you can easily collect a stool sample using the provided collection tube. The included return envelope allows you to send the sample to the certified laboratory for analysis. If you have any questions, you can always contact our helpdesk via the website.

Before you begin

  • Do not perform the test if you have bleeding hemorrhoids, are menstruating, or if you feel unwell.
  • Make sure the stool does not come into contact with water or urine. So urinate first and flush the toilet.
  • Do not collect a sample if you have a fever or an acute infection (unless that is specifically being tested for).
  • Avoid taking medications or supplements shortly before the test.
  • Preferably, do not collect a sample on a Friday or during the weekend due to longer shipping times. Send the sample on the same day it is collected.
  • Is it below 4°C or above 25°C outside? Then drop off the package at a post office.

  • If you have difficulty with a finger prick or feel uncomfortable at the sight of blood, perform the test in the presence of someone else or consult a healthcare professional.
  • If you are taking blood thinners or have a blood clotting disorder, consult your doctor first to avoid complications.

Getting Started

  • Activate the kit using the information on the inside of the box.
  • Place the barcode sticker vertically on the collection tube.

Feces

Step 1.

Wash your hands with soap for 30 seconds, rinse them thoroughly with warm water, and dry them well.

Step 2.

Urinate first and flush the toilet. Do not perform the test if you have bleeding hemorrhoids, are menstruating, or if you feel unwell. Make sure the stool does not come into contact with water or urine. So urinate first and flush the toilet.

Step 3.

Unfold the stool collector and place it on the toilet as indicated in the instructions on the packaging. Collect your stool on the stool collector. The stool must not come into contact with water or urine.

Step 4.

Remove the collection tube from the packaging. Unscrew the cap of the collection tube and collect the stool by thoroughly running the green test stick over the stool sample, ensuring all grooves are fully covered.

Step 5.

Insert the test stick back into the collection tube and screw the cap on tightly until you hear a click.

Step 6.

Dispose of the stool collector with the general waste. Then wash your hands thoroughly and place the collection tube into the provided protective pouch with the blue adhesive strip.

Shipping

Step 1.

Place the sealed collection tube into the provided protective pouch with the blue adhesive strip, which already contains the absorbent pad. Seal the pouch securely using the adhesive strip. Place the pouch with its contents into the box and close the box.

Step 2.

Place the box into the provided return envelope and seal it using the adhesive strip. The package fits in a mailbox. If you drop it off at a post office, do not add track & trace, as this will delay delivery. Postage has already been paid.

Step 3.

Dispose of the remaining items in the appropriate waste bin. We will notify you by email as soon as your lab results are available.
